AllianceHub V3.6 Release: Enhanced Test and Certification for Diverse Organizational Workflows

AllianceHub V3.6 Release

AllianceHub officially releases V3.6 with enhanced Test and Certification capabilities. At the center of this update are flexible Test Certification Templates, which allow organizations to configure application forms and review workflows around their own operating models and specific certification scenarios. Instead of applying one common process to every case, administrators can establish a clear template for each type of test and certification work.

AllianceHub V3.6 flexible Test Certification Templates overview

I. Flexible Templates for Different Organizations and Business Scenarios

Test Certification Templates for different organizational scenarios

Test and certification requirements vary across organizations. The information collected, the review stages involved, and the participating agencies may all differ. Multiple scenarios within the same organization may also require distinct application forms and approval arrangements.

With V3.6, an organization can maintain multiple Test Certification Templates. A Test/Certification Admin can configure the name, description, application form, and workflow for each template, with content available in both Chinese and English. Templates can also be enabled or disabled according to operational needs. Disabling a template prevents new applications from being submitted through it, while applications already in progress continue through their established workflows.

This template-based approach gives each scenario a dedicated entry point. Applicants select the relevant template and follow the information requirements and process designed for that case. Organizations can therefore establish reusable operating rules without repeatedly explaining the same requirements through offline communication.

II. Application Forms and Workflows Configured Together

Configurable application forms and multi-step review workflows

Each template can contain its own application form. Administrators can organize content into sections and configure fields for text, selections, dates, countries or regions, and attachments. Applicants are presented with the information requirements relevant to the selected scenario, keeping the submission process focused and easier to follow.

The same template also defines a multi-step workflow. Depending on the scenario, the process may involve the applicant, a Test/Certification Admin, testing lab representatives, certification body representatives, and a Certificate Admin. Administrators can configure whether multiple roles need to complete a step together or whether one eligible role can complete it.

Participation by a testing lab or certification body is determined by the workflow of the selected template. This allows one scenario to include both types of agency while another uses only the roles it actually needs.

By keeping the form and workflow within one template, AllianceHub aligns the information requested from an applicant with the people responsible for reviewing it. This reduces repeated clarification and helps each application move through a process that reflects the organization’s actual requirements.

III. Coordinated Processing and Clear Pending Work

Coordinated application processing, My To-Dos, and application history

After submission, an application moves through the workflow defined by its template. Participants can view the application within their authorized scope, add review comments, and provide supporting attachments when required.

If information needs to be corrected or supplemented, the application can be returned to the applicant for revision and resubmission. The applicant may also withdraw it when the application is in an eligible state. These actions remain connected to the same application, giving participants a consistent view of its current status and processing history.

Organization-level My To-Dos brings together the test and certification applications that currently require action from each user. When a user qualifies through more than one role, the same application appears only once. Administrators and agency representatives can identify their current responsibilities more easily without reviewing unrelated applications or handling duplicate entries.

IV. Controlled Access, Process Records, and Certificate Management

Controlled data access, process records, and certificate management

V3.6 applies role- and agency-based access to application data. Applicants can view their own submissions. Testing lab and certification body representatives can access applications associated with their respective agencies. Authorized organization administrators, Test/Certification Admins, and Certificate Admins can view the information required for their responsibilities.

Key actions—including submission, review, rejection, resubmission, withdrawal, and certificate handling—are retained as process records. This provides a clearer account of how an application progressed and what happened at each stage.

For workflows that produce a certificate, the certificate information can enter certificate management after the application is completed and remain associated with its source application. Certificate Admins can also maintain certificates uploaded independently by the organization. This connects the application process with its final outcome while keeping certificate records available for ongoing management.

AllianceHub V3.6 brings forms, workflows, participant roles, and certificate outcomes together through flexible Test Certification Templates. Different organizations—and different scenarios within the same organization—can establish processes that better reflect how they operate. AllianceHub will continue improving practical, clear, and controllable collaboration workflows around real organizational needs.
